A nine-year veteran in the
regional marketing and communications arena, Jeanne started her career at
Singapore Tourism Board’s Asia Office where she handled the advertising
and promotions for the board’s ASEAN office. After three years, she
moved to its corporate communications division coordinating PR for France
and Italy. She then joined Regional PR agencies Michael de Kretser and
Ruder Finn Asia as Account Manager and Senior Consultant respectively. Her
clients at Michael de Kretser included the Singapore Zoological Gardens,
Raffles International and Siemens Medical Instruments. At Ruder Finn, she
specialized in healthcare communications where she handled the regional PR
portfolios for Pfizer, Novartis and Pharmacia. She spearheaded the launch
of Celebrex and managed issues for Viagra in Singapore.
After two years at Ruder
Finn, she was headhunted to join AXN Asia, the 100% Sony-owned action and
adventure cable channel, one of top three cable channels in Asia. As
Senior Manager Marketing and Communications at AXN, Jeanne was
predominantly in charge of the channel’s East Asia feed (principally
Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong) as well as the
channel’s South Asia and Taiwan feeds. As part of her role at AXN, she
helped develop the channel’s advertising, public and corporate relations
strategies, and project-managed their major consumer events like the AXN
Challenge, a series of multi-disciplinary adventure races in Hong Kong,
Singapore and the Philippines.
Her strengths lie in event
management, PR and marketing strategy as well as media relations.

Deborah Abraham brings with
her a blend of both journalistic and PR expertise.
Deborah began her career as
a journalist on the daily tabloid The Star in Malaysia covering political
and trade issues. She then joined the Television Corporation of Singapore
as a producer on the breakfast show- AM Singapore- a daily live magazine
program that aired news, current affairs and entertainment. She then
hosted the show for two years- interviewing and meeting influential
personalities from all walks of life.
Wanting to hone her skills
behind the camera, Deborah joined independent film and documentary
company- Fringe Films. Here she produced some of Singapore’s most
credible English program series such as Streets of Singapore, C Files,
Young Wonders and Road to Renaissance.
Deborah was instrumental in
the first joint venture between an international broadcaster- Discovery
Channel Asia and Singapore TV 12. She pitched and produced the documentary
Burning Earth - aired on both channels –and received two nominations for
best documentary in 1998 at the Asian Television Awards and the New York
Film Festival. Deborah was then headhunted by the National Geographic
Channel Washington to host and report on a 13-part environmental series,
Earthpulse, which covered 5 continents and 12 destinations. The programme
aired in the year 2000 to 100 million households in 128 countries.
Deborah has also extensively
produced corporate videos. Among her credits are Banyan Tree Resorts,
Peribit Healthcare Systems, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore
(IDA), Hewlett Packard, Ministry of Community Development and Ministry of
Law, Singapore.
